Our Commitment To Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. What information we collect and how we use it

During run-time our software sends specific information to ReGet Software servers.
The information that is received by ReGet Software is:

• The current version and build number of software. This is needed in order to notify you of the latest service package and upgrade releases of software.
• The time and date of first program installation and the usage period. This information is collected to gain statistics on the period during which software was used.
• User's system Locale. The system locale information is needed for time calculations as different users are located at random GMT offsets.
• Name and size of the files being downloaded (only if "Mirror search" feature is on, see the feature description for details).
• During software activation process Hardware ID and the product key are being sent to the activation server. The activation process itself is completely anonymous; no personally identifiable information is required. Please see the Activation Privacy article for details.

The information sent to ReGet Software servers does not contain any personally identifiable user information such as name, gender etc. Our advertising partners may ask you to fill out the form with additional non-personally identifiable information (including Marital Status, Household Income, Gender, Job Function, Education, Year of Birth, State/Province, Country, Postal or Zip Code, and Interests). Filling of this form is absolutely voluntarily and it won't affect the work of software.

We can collect your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and platform to gather statistic information about visitors of our web sites. Advertising systems used on our web-sites might use cookies.

Purchasing and Activation Process-related privacy issues

To buy our software you should register with one of our online registrators providing them with your personal information including name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card number, and expiration date. Neither ReGet Software, nor its partners disclose to any third parties information received when you are registering ReGet Software products.

Public Forums

Some of our sites might make forums or news groups available to users. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.

Technical Support

Technical support of a forum may be provided by a third party. The actual forum hoster must be specified on the subscribing page. Please be aware of its privacy statement.

In order to contact our technical support team you might be required to register at the appropriate web-site, any personally identifiable information submitted during the registration process or while communicating with our support team is protected in the accordance with this privacy policy.
